Every place you stood, named in the book

Every photo is placed by country, town, street or quarter, and the place itself: the museum, the fountain, the bridge. When that place is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, the chapter says so on its opening page, and the stamp appears on the contents and route pages. How do I make a photo book from my phone photos?
Upload the trip’s photos from your phone or from Google Drive, between 20 and 200 of them. Mapories reads the dates and the GPS in them, groups the trip into days and places, keeps the best shots and lays out the book. You page through the whole preview before paying anything.
Does the book have maps of where I went?
Yes. The book opens on a map of the whole journey, and each chapter opens on the route of that day, with the towns and sights marked where you took the photos.
Who writes the captions?
Mapories does, from the place, the date and what is in the photo. You see every title and caption in the preview and can change any of them before you order.
How long does it take?
From upload to a full preview, a few minutes. Trips through places we have mapped in detail come back fastest; a first trip somewhere new can take a quarter of an hour while we look up every stop. The printed hardcover is produced close to you; the checkout shows the delivery estimate for your address, usually under two weeks in Europe.
Can I change the photos or the layout?
Every title and caption, yes, right in the preview. The choice of photos and the page layouts are made for you from the whole trip; if a page is not right, start the book again with the photos you want in it. Nothing is printed until you have seen every page.
What if the book arrives damaged?
Write to orders@maporiesbooks.com with a photo of the damage and we reprint the same book at no cost.
Who sees my photos?
Only you, and the service that makes your book. They are never shown to other customers or used for anything else, and an unfinished book and its photos are deleted the moment you ask. The privacy page has the details.
